Dr. Yasmin Umar’s journey in Dentistry began when she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Degree in 2009, from prestigious M.U.H.S University in Mumbai India. She completed her Diploma in Dental Hygiene with honors from George brown college in Toronto in 2013. Her commitment to excellence led her to secure her Ontario Board license from the Royal College of dental surgeons of Ontario as a General Dentist after passing the National Dental Board of Examination (NBDE) in 2019
After having a satisfying career as an Associate Dentist, she founded Afflux Dentistry family and cosmetic dental practice in Mississauga.
With over a decade of enriching dental experience, Dr. Yasmin Umar has been transforming countless lives, one radiant smile at a time! She enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a keen interest in Preventative Dental Care, Root canals, Invisalign, Dentures, Extractions, Crown and Bridges. She believes in empowering patients with knowledge to make informed decisions about their oral health. Through thorough examination, personalised treatment plans, and patient education, ensures that her patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. Her caring and gentle yet professional attitude is appreciated by patients of all ages.

Her passion for dentistry has led her to undertake more than 200 hours of continuing education in different aspects of dentistry, including Root canal, Invisalign, wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, and Nitrous oxide sedation.

Dr. Jain
Dr. Jain is a jovial person and a very humble Dental Professional. He has been concentrating specifically on surgeries of Oral Cavity and Teeth. He has rendered his services in a number of hospitals and offices over more than a decade before shifting to Canada. Having completed the equivalency process in Canada, he is a licensed Dentist and is focussing on the treatment related to Oral Surgery.
He is one amongst the elite who have mastered Cleft Surgeries and Face Beautification Surgeries . He received training in cleft lip, palate and craniofacial surgery from GSR Institute of Facial Plastic Surgery, CCI (Zurich). Indian Dental Association made Dr. Jain, Tobacco intervention Initiative Specialist in recognition of his immense work in the field. He has been an active participant at the International Advanced Cranio-Maxllofacial Forum as well as in the Nobel Biocare World Tour for Dental Implants.
He is not only an exceptional surgeon but also a noted academician. He has also kept his footprints in a number of international and national publications, seminars and research papers. He is an active Life Member of AOMSI and a member of ODA. Spanning over 13 years of experience in different parts of India, Dr. Jain has left no stone unturned to achieve academic and clinical excellence. He has a whopping experience of having operated on more than 25000 wisdom teeth, 250 jaw and face fractures, 500 maxillofacial pathologies and 100s of dental implants till date.
